The great Mitten!

Part of our challenge this week was to list at least 5 tourist attractions in our state.  I live in the Mitten AKA good ol'e Michigan!
In Michigan some of the biggest tourist attractions are our Great Lakes, especially Lake Michigan and Lake Superior.  Other attractions are Pictured Rocks in Munising, The Mackinaw Bridge, and the World's Largest Tire.
Michigan is also home to Kellogg, in Battle Creek (ever had corn flakes for breakfast?), and a Paul Bunyan Statue in Manistique.
Not only are there cool roadside attractions, but there is also plenty of fun for the avid nature lover.  Michigan has great skiing in winter, boating, kayaking, and swimming in the summer, and hiking during any season.  Fall is very pretty in Michigan, especially in the Upper Peninsula, where the trees are in an endless supply.  Hunting is also popular in Fall and Winter.  Michigan is a great place to visit and has much to offer!
