Adventures in Grand Rapids
As of December of 2013 I've officially completed my first semester of college! It's been quite the adventure, but I wouldn't take back any of it, not even the time I overslept and missed one of my biology lectures. I've made tons of new friends, got to explore parts of Grand Rapids, and even met the Plain White T's! But with my first semester behind me, I've enjoyed being at home, relaxing, hanging out with friends, and baking cookies. My relaxing time at home is about to come to an end though. A week from today I will be making my way back to my dorm at Aquinas College, back for another semester full of homework, studying, and memories.
Since I've been very quiet in the blogging world while I'm away at college, I've decided to slowly start posting some pictures from my adventures in GR. College has already taught me so many things and also given me an extreme dislike of fire drills. But here are some pictures from when my parents came to visit during the end of September to explore Art Prize with me. If you've never heard about Art Prize before, basically it is a huge art competition that takes over Grand Rapids, Michigan. Artists come from within Michigan to countries all across the world. 2013 was my first year going and I already can't wait for next year. And hopefully next year I will have recruited some of my other friends to come see it too. It really is an unforgettable event.
