Off to the DR!

With a crazy week now behind me, I am looking forward to a new adventure that is closing in on me.  This new adventure is one I am very gracious for and hope that it is inspiring and teaches me and my classmates many lessons. 

So if you haven't guessed from the title.....I'm going to the Dominican Republic!

In just minutes now I'll be walking over with a week's worth of belongings and a heart filled

with gratitude and excitement.  It's crazy that it is becoming real, and that this spring break in the DR is becoming so tangible.  A week spent in a country in which I will be working alongside my peers serving in clinics and experiencing things together that will be truly unforgettable.

I am so excited for this opportunity and hope to journal frequently while I am there, as I will be disconnected from technology for the week.
