Mimi and I enjoy a beautiful day

Introducing Mimi!  Mimi is my 6-year old Border Collie.  Border Collies are herding dogs bred for herding sheep, so they are very active.  Mimi is no exception.  She loves to play fetch with just about anything, herd my rabbit Peter, go for walks, work on her Agility, and go for runs along my bike.  There's no job Mimi will turn down! 

This is a picture I took a couple years ago near Christmas, as you can see Mimi was feeling "Elfy!"

Today turned out to be a very nice day.  Mimi and I took advantage of it by going for two bike rides, playing ball in the yard (with Mimi's Chuck-it), running around with Peter in the backyard, and going for a walk with my Dad.  Mimi loves being outside and we sure did have a fun time outdoors today.  Peter also had a nice time hopping around.  He likes to sneak in the garden and dig in the dirt in the places where we haven't planted anything yet.  Pretty soon it'll be fenced off so no wild critters can get in and dig up our goodies.  Summer is coming quick!

In my next post I'll put up some pictures of Peter, after all it is almost Easter, and that means it is time for some Peter Cottontail! :)
