Welcome April!
The beginning of a new month, and boy has this year flown by already! Welcome to April everyone! I hope you're all having a good start of this month, and I hope no one tricked you with any April Fools jokes ;)
One of the challenges this week is to write about our spring break. Well as much as I'd like to say I'm having an awesome vacation, I'm not. Maybe because I'm not on vacation! The reason I'm not enjoy school-free, relaxing days, is because I'm not on break. Don't get me wrong I did have a pretty good weekend this weekend, but I'm homeschooled, so I don't get an official break like kids in school do. However, many of my friends are either on spring break, or starting break soon, so hopefully I still get to have some fun while those lucky ducks are on break.
Being homeschooled does have its advantages though. I especially like the fact that sometimes I'm able to do my schoolwork in my PJs and pick my own classes and schedule. It can be hard though, especially now that I'm in High school with a bigger work load and harder subjects. I also mainly teach myself everything, mostly online, but sometimes with a book or CD. I do enjoy homeschooling though and the independence it gives me. I don't wish to go to regular High School, because I don't really feel like I'm missing out on much. And next year I'll be a senior, so there's no point in trying to fit into a High school when I don't have to!
Anyways, that's all for now, are any of you on break? If so, what are you plans for some spring break fun? :)
