The importance of an open mind

No matter where life takes you, one of the most important lessons that I've learned, is the ability to have an open mind.  Sometimes there comes a time when you have to speak up for your views, but most of the time it is just as important to accept the other persons' opinion.  Not only does this save many arguements, but it's also the kind thing to do.  Everyone is different, so not everyone is going to have the same opinions on things as you, so having an open mind is essential.
