Tuesday: If you had to sum up your life in two paragraphs, what would it be?
If I were to sum my life in two paragraphs, it look something like this:
I was born Sarah Elizabeth Wentela on October 15th in Hancock, MI. My parents lived in Ontonagon and we moved several times when I was little. Slowly we worked our way towards the bridge. We lived in Lower Michigan for almost 10 years. First we lived in an apartment for just less than a year in Southfield, then in a house in Allen Park for 9 years. Throughout my life I've always had a deep connection with animals and nature. Animals in particular. While living in Allen Park, I volunteered at the Dearborn Animal Shelter for almost 3 years. It was a really good experience and I enjoyed learning, working, and playing with the animals there.
Unfortunatly in July 2009 I had to leave Allen Park. The economy had been very poor and my Dad had lost his job. My parents decided that it would be a good idea to move back to the U.P. Luckily both my parents found jobs in Houghton and we found a house to rent. The move didn't really sink it at first, it felt more like a vacation. Since we went to the U.P. several times a year while living downstate (to visit family), it took awhile for my brain to realize I wasn't on vacation. But through my moves I have gotten stronger, have met new people, and got to explore tons of new places!
