Wednesday: Describe your favorite place

It's hard to really describe a favorite place, is it the place I love the most? Or is it an ideal spot to be? I'm not really sure yet, I still want to explore. I like Michigan's Upper Peninsula because of its wildlife and things to do outdoors. But I believe everywhere you live has its good parts and bad parts, and that is why I wrote a poem about my favorite place.

It's out there somewhere
Is it in my yard?
Or is is far away?
I wonder if it's waiting for me to play
I can't be certain where is
My favorite place

There is so much to discover
From state to state
Lake to Lake
There's a lot out there for goodness sake
So go explore
My favorite place
