Recapping the Blogging Challenge
I have enjoyed my Student Blogging Challenge experience and I'm sad to see it coming to an end, at least for now. But I will try to continue writing in my blog at least once or twice a week, and keeping you all updated on my journeys.
I took the survey of the challenge, but there was also some questions for us to use to evaluate our blog and to blog about? Well here are my answers to the questions:
From March till now -
How many posts did you write? - 22 (5 in March, 11 in April, and 6 in May, or 7 if you count this, so 23?)
How many were school based, your own interests or set by the challenge? - I'm homeschooled so none of my posts were prompted by teachers, but as far as posts set by the challenge I'd say about half are inspired by the challenge prompts.
How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers or overseas students? - I got about 4 comments, some from teachers/mentors in the challenge, and a couple from overseas students.
Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened? - I didn't get an overwelming response on any posts, but I did get more feedback when I wrote about my day or talked about being homeschooled, I think because people might be curious about my life or the life of a homeschooler, especially if they've never really talked to someone homeschooled.
Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why? - I enjoyed the posts where I posted pictures or talked about my day the most, just because it was simple and didn't take a lot of time to think about. I didn't have to look up anything, I just got to talk.
Did you change blog themes at all and why? - Yes I did. Mainly because I wanted a change and because the challenge inspired me to change up my blog.
How many widgets do you have? Do you think this is too many or not enough? - I think I have about 5 widgets? But a few of them are just the blogroll or recent comments/posts. No I don't really think I have too many, because I think the flag banner and blogroll makes my blog more interesting.
How many overseas students do you have on your blogroll? - I updated my blog last week during the game to feature all overseas students, so I'm pretty sure everyone on my blog roll is from another country, cool huh? I think so!
