Can you wander and not be lost?
This quote by J.R.R Tolkien is quite inspirational to me. There are as many interpretations as there are people that read it. Is it about perception and the fact that not everything is what you assume? Maybe it has to do with not judging a book by its cover or it could be simply about finding yourself and wandering around until you find you. You may not be lost, but you are in the process of becoming true to yourself. Or it could mean that not everyone will succeed when they try and not everyone will fail. Maybe the wandering means that you take the road less traveled by, but you are not lost. So many meanings and interpretations......maybe it's a little bit of everything. Maybe it means whatever we need it to mean during the time we read it. Hopefully by reading it the message we need will come through to us. What do you think it means?
