Family is Forever

When I decided to make this blog post I contemplated what makes a family.  Is it blood relation?  Is it knowing someone your whole life?  To be honest, to me it is all of those things and none at the same time.  Family is just who grows roots in your life and never leaves.   Family should be the people you depend on, who love you unconditionally, and help you grow.  The truth is, family isn't always who you are related to, or who you see the most.  Family is the people you can't imagine living without, who make you feel special when you talk to them, and who you love spending time with.  I am blessed to be close to a lot of my family members.  I have wonderful grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and parents.  I wouldn't trade my family for anyone else's and I hope that we continue to grow into one of a kind individuals, but still keep that family bond that will never die.
