For most people, including me, summer time means family time. Personally, spending time with family members is one of my favorite things to do. I've seen quite a few relatives this summer, but I haven't seen my cousins who I miss tremendously. Carley (pictured on the right) and I have been skyping a lot lately and wishing that we could hangout together. We have so many similar interests and there's never a dull moment when we are together. Even if I don't get to see her, I know she is always there for me and that she is one of the few people who will always keep me on her mind. She is one of the best people I have ever met and it is a blessing to be her cousin.
As I get older I have begun to realize just how special quality time with relatives is. And I have come to the conclusion that family members are gifts, and cousins are friends for life, whether or not you're best friends with them is up to you.
