An Hour with ZZ
Last Thursday, I went and saw ZZ Ward with my Mom in Ann Arbor. It was an hour long lunch performance outside, however, it was an hour of talent, energy, and enthusiasm. Not only did ZZ impress me with her voice, but also her energy and passion for music. I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor concert, and enjoyed even more the quality time spent with my amazing Mom. It brings me joy that we have similar music tastes and can enjoy an event like this together. A mother-daughter bond is one that can never be replaced, and should truly be valued. I am so grateful for my bond with my Mom, and I don't know what I would do without her. Music has tremendous power to bring people together. I think sometimes we underestimate just how powerful it is, for in this case, it allowed my Mom and I to spend time together, to spend half the day away from home and things that might distract us from hanging out with each other. ZZ gave us the opportunity to spend an hour listening to her, but also to listen to each other. Thanks ZZ!
