My Little Patient

Last Wednesday, my cat Abby had surgery to remove a lump on her leg.  I went to see her later in the day while I interned at the Vet where she had the surgery.  I took her home that night when I left.  She was still pretty groggy, but by bedtime she was bright and seemed much more like herself again.  She may have a couple shaved legs, but she still has spunk.  However, now she has no longer been wearing a bandage, but wears an e-collar (cone) instead.  She doesn't like wearing the cone very much, but she has to until she gets her sutures out next week.  We are also waiting for the results of the biopsy she had done.  I am grateful for the care she received at the Vet and hope to hear good results.  But, for now I am focused on my cute little patient who is almost always so sweet and loving.
