Belle Isle Bike Ride

 

Another one of my favorite experiences from almost exactly a month ago, was a bike ride on Belle Isle with my Mom.  I feel very fortunate to have gotten to bond a lot with my Mom while I was home for the summer.  And some of my favorite memories with her from the summer are our bike ride adventures.  The belle isle ride was especially neat because we were on an island park and could look out to Canada on just the other side of the water.  It was an enjoyable ride, despite having to endure quite a bit of rain.  We thoroughly enjoyed getting to look out at the water, the cool statues, and historical sites throughout the park.  It was a great experience and I hope to go back sometime.
