Abby Update

It has been a few weeks since I have posted anything about my cat Abby, who had surgery almost exactly a month ago.  At that time we didn't know the results of the biopsy yet.  The results were that it was a grade 1 sarcoma.  The margins were not as good as we had hoped for, so there is a chance of the lump coming back, however, we have changed Abby's diet and she has had an herbal prescribed to her from Dr. LeVeque, the holistic Vet I have been interning with.  And so far so good!  Abby is beyond happy to have no bandage and no e-collar to deal with.  Her fur is almost back and she seems to be feeling mighty fine.

And for now, I am enjoying my last weeks of the summer with her before I go back to college and can't see her everyday.
