Art Prize 2014

Even though it is January 11th, I have decided to post today about one exciting event of 2014 for me.  This event is Art Prize.  It is an annual event in Grand Rapids featuring artists from all over, local, national, and international.  Getting to go to this event was one of the highlights of my first year at Aquinas.  It was something new I never got to experience before living in Grand Rapids.  The other reason I love going to Art Prize is that my parents come up to take me.  Their support means the world to me and the fact that they take the time to come visit me and do fun stuff makes so incredibly grateful.  Coming back to campus today for my second semester of my sophomore year made me realize just how strong my bond is to my family.  I may be 20 years old, but I still cry when I have to leave home and leave the biggest blessing in my life, my parents.  So without further ado, here are some pictures from the beginning of October, when my parents and I explored Art Prize:
