Friday: Creative Writing Class
As this summer writing class is coming to an end I'd like to mention how much fun I've had. For one without the class I wouldn't have learned how much fun blogging can be. I've always liked writing journal-type writing prompt things but never thought it would be so much fun on the computer. With this class it has also sparked my interest for where I want to go in writing, what I want to write, and what I like writing about.
If there was something I have NOT gotten from this class it was probably any information on writing careers. Although I must say I am set on being a Veterinarian I've always wondered about different career for writers. I'm also sorta liking the idea about writing some sort of book about animals when I'm older. My ideas for books are medical, rescue, holistic, training, experiences, etc.... Who knows what I'll do!
That's what I love about writing it takes me places! I can just lose myself in writing, I can write whatever I want. And that's another reason I liked this class is because I have gotten to express myself while learning. The assignments didn't make me scared about following the guidelines they made me puzzled at what to write about. I had to think up my own idea, characters, events, etc, and I LOVE that!
So overall I'd like to thank the wonderful teacher of this class (Mrs. Heinz) for putting together an excellent class. I really hope she does something else in the future, I'd love to work with her again! I also would like to say how great the other writers are - Great job everyone!
I'm really glad I was a part of this class, and I can't wait to attend our final Meet in Person.

You are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteWriting careers... Well, if you should decide against the Vet profession, there are LOTS of different writing opportunities out there. And when you make your career choice, feel free to get a hold of me. I can point you in a direction if you go the WRITING route. :o) [Which, for the record, I think you have a lucrative career in writing after reading your animal story!]
I am so glad you all enjoyed the class. And walked away with something. :o)
