Monday: What would you rather be - poor and happy, or rich and miserable?

If I had to choose between being poor and happy or rich and miserable I would pick the first choice. Poor and happy.
The reason why I'd rather be poor and happy is pretty simple. First off someone who is happy is a better person to be around and has a lot more fun in life than someone who is rich and unhappy.
Someone who is poor also doesn't take things for granted. They are thankful for what they have and even though they don't have much they are usually very generous. They work hard and cherish the time they get to spend with loved ones doing some of their favorite things.
Even if one day I was to become rich I would give away my money to my favorite charities and would have a content life without money.
