Spring Semester of My Junior Year - Day 2
The morning of my day two was a snowy walk to my first two classes of the day. Despite the cold, something about the quiet crunch of the un-shoveled powdery snow on the sidewalk was somewhat calming on my early morning walk to class. Step by step I walked in these peaceful white surroundings, my backpack bouncing softly against my coat as I watched the familiar campus scene blur by, catching the sight of freshly awoken students also quietly on their way to their classes, some stopping at the Moose for a warm cup of joe to start the day.
At 10:40am, my second class of the day was over, and I headed back to my apartment to catch up with Jacklyn, make lunch, and try to get a head start on studying and organizing my life (at least mentally).
A few hours later I had my first day of my last class of the day, second semester Organic Chemistry. There was something soothing about being surrounded by familiar faces after a few weeks apart. Can't say I deeply missed chemistry, however, I can't say that the professor is boring. He's actually quite the hoot.
Now, a few peaceful hours since my last class, I sit and reflect on my day and motivate myself to keep learning and expanding my mind. Just keep going. Just keep learning. You got this.
